چکیده
Abstract We present the design and testing of a prototype in-plane echelle spectrograph based on an actively controlled fiber-fed double-pass design. This system aims to be small efficient with minimum number optical surfaces—currently collimator/camera lens, cross-dispersing prism, grating reflector send light detector. It is built from catalog components has dimensions approximately 20 × 30 cm. works in regime resolution >70,000. The fed by bifurcated fiber one telescope other used provide simultaneous Thorium Argon illumination for wavelength calibration. positions arc lines detector are processed real time commercial auto-guiding software treat as guide stars. guiding sends any required adjustments mechanical piezo-electric actuators which move mirror sending camera removing drift position lines. current configuration using sCMOS provides precision 3.5 milli-pixels equivalent 4 m s −1 standard laboratory environment.

Monitoring Off-the-Shelf Components
Software is being developed from off-the-shelf third party components. The interface specification of such a component may be under specified or may not fully match the user requirement. In this paper, we address the problem of customizing such components to particular users. We achieve this by constructing a monitor that monitors the component and detects any bad behaviors. Construction of suc...
متن کاملAgent-Based Commercial Off-The-Shelf Software Components Evaluation Method
In the last decade, the world of software development has evolved rapidly. This evolution has led to Component-Based Software Development (CBSD), which in turn has generated tremendous interest in the development of plug-and-play reusable software, leading to the concept of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software components. The use of COTS is increasingly becoming commonplace. This is mainly ...
متن کاملIncorporating Off-The-Shelf Components with Event-based Integration
Event-based Integration (EBI) is an promising technology for constructing large software architectures. It can integrate concurrent, heterogeneous components in dynamic software architecture. This paper discusses our experience in integrating a set of off-the-shelf components to create an event-based software architecture development environment. We discuss the benefits and obstacles of integra...
متن کاملDiversity for off-the-Shelf Components
"Commercial-off-the-shelf" (COTS) or, generally, "offthe-shelf" (OTS) software items are increasingly used in building systems, instead of only relying on bespoke software items1. This trend is driven by a wish to reduce costs, and by some hope that greater re-use of software may lead to higher quality (via more feedback from use). Thus, for instance, the U.S. Dept of Defence policy is now to e...
متن کاملEvaluating Off-The-Shelf Architectural Components
Reuse of off-the-shelf (OTS) components is becoming increasingly important in most software development projects. Despite such importance, reuse of OTS components at the software architectural level has many challenges before a component-based application (CBA) can successfully be developed. This paper presents a methodology for matching the software developer’s needs against a repository of ar...
